USASF: Level 6 Credentialing at Worlds

Cheerleading Worlds LogoThe USASF is considering adding a Level 6 Credentialing course in Orlando the Thursday before Worlds. The final determination on whether or not the course will be held will be based on the number of coaches registered by Monday, April 8th.

  • WHEN – Thursday, April 25th, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • WHERE – Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort
  • COST – $500; which includes the $30 building test fee

USASF: 2019 Divisions at The Dance Worlds

Dear USASF Members:

We have some exciting news to share!

You may be aware that, last year, the IASF began to oversee the Age Grid, Safety Guidelines and Scoring System for the Open/International Divisions at The Cheerleading Worlds. The IASF is now ready to do the same for The Dance Worlds in 2019.

What does this mean? The USASF will continue to oversee the Senior Divisions & Categories, Safety Guidelines and Scoring for Worlds, and the IASF will oversee the Open Divisions & Categories, Safety Guidelines and Scoring for Worlds. Coming soon, information about awarding bids in the IASF Open Divisions and Categories for dance will be made available to Event Producers.

USASF: Additional At Large Worlds bid in the IASF Non-Tumbling Cheer Divisions Available!

Dear USASF Members:

The International All Star Federation (IASF) recently released new, non-tumbling cheer divisions for the 2018-19 season. To support these new divisions and to give more opportunity to programs, these provisional, Level 5, non-tumbling divisions were selected to be offered at the 2019 Worlds.

Each Worlds bid event will have the opportunity to offer one At Large Worlds bid in the IASF Non-Tumbling Cheer Divisions, in addition to any other bids they are eligible to offer. Our shared goal is to give more opportunities to programs that will help build participation at Worlds internationally.

Programs are encouraged to be in contact with event producers that award Worlds Bids to find out if these new IASF non-tumbling divisions will be offered.
