The USASF has release the General Information Packet for the 2012 Cheerleading Worlds.
- The VIP Gala is now on Thursday.
- Some divisions (Small Senior, Small Coed) will have preliminaries on Friday for At Large Bid recipients only. The top 10 teams from preliminaries will move to Semi-Finals on Saturday to compete against the Partial Paid and Full Paid bid recipients.
- Only the Top 10 teams in each Senior Division will make it to finals on Sunday.
- US Worlds Trials for all American teams in International divisions will take place on Friday.
- For International Division the athlete’s age for the sake of competition will be the athlete’s age on December 31, 2012.
- International Open Coed L6 now has a maximum of 15 guys, up from 12. Unfortunately this change only applies to Worlds and not qualifiers.
- Following US Worlds Trials the 4th-10th place American teams will receive awards.
- Athletes on Worlds teams need to be full USASF members. The cost of membership starts at $25 if the athlete is registered before receiving a bid to Worlds.
- Coaches will need to be Credentialed to get in the warmup room. Coaches will be able to get Credentialed in Orlando, but it will be expensive.
- Any athlete that competed for a gym from November 1, 2011 or later will need to get a waiver from that gym to be eligible to compete with a different gym at Worlds.
- Score Sheets will be released by November 15th.
