MSNBC published Mobile School System Slashes Freshman Sports and Cheerleading Programs.

Tomesha Perry says her daughter is trying out for high school cheerleading for the first time at Murphy High. “She’s gonna have her work cut out for her,” says Perry.

And that work could get even tougher, now that Mobile County School officials are cutting out all freshman sports and cheerleading programs.
