The Cheer and Dance World now has a place to unite in the Spirit of Charity. Our hearts will forever be wearing blue in support of our Midwest Cheer Elite family. And in December, Cheer for a Cause will support the families of Midwest through virtual auctions on eBay!
Lake Mary, Florida, December 5, 2010 – Cheer for a Cause has launched their worldwide website at www.cheerforacause.org. The site was donated by industry leading website design and hosting firm, Jam Spirit Sites, Inc. This new home for Cheer for a Cause will grow their mission to unite the giving and giving back from our global cheerleading and dance community. The site includes pages for the U.S.A., Canada, Asia, Australia, Europe and Latin America.
After the Midwest tragedy of November 13 – where parent Lori Morris was killed in a head on collision on the way to a competition in Ohio, and four passengers were seriously injured – our hearts will forever wear blue in support of our Midwest Cheer Elite family. The mission of Cheer for a Cause is unity in giving, and many of us have an overwhelming feeling of “wanting to do something for Midwest”. Several businesses and professionals came to Cheer for a Cause asking how they could help, and the idea to hold eBay auctions opened up a great way to bring together helping out and giving back! And they’ve asked for our help to spread the word!
Cheer for a Cause will list new and exciting items on eBay every day through December 15! 100% of the proceeds of every auction will go to the 5/3 Bank accounts for the Morris and Blair families. You can see all the auctions and bid at http://myworld.ebay.com/cheerforacause. The holiday season makes it a perfect time for this not so silent auction, and provides us all a way to give a gift that gives twice! Many amazing things have been donated – bows, gift certificates and custom bling boots, cheerlebrity autographs, professional college consulting, and even “mental game” consulting from a Harvard PhD!
A limited number of special edition Cheer for a Cause Midwest tribute patches will also be available on eBay!
