The USASF Dance Worlds score sheets and training webinars have been posted to the website. The Category Directors recorded a detailed review of the score sheets breaking down each caption, highlighting point values, judge thoughts, and even giving insight to some of the tools the judges use to encourage consistency at The Dance Worlds. These same reviews will be used to train judges at the 2018 Dance Worlds.
These sheets are available to all event producers as an option to use during the 2017-18 event season. Coaches, be sure to check with each event producer to verify what scoring system will be used and to plan your choreography accordingly.

The International All Star Federation (IASF) recently released its official list of competition divisions for the global All Star community. To provide additional growth opportunity for U.S. All Star cheer teams to participate in these newly developed divisions, the USASF is including 11 provisional international divisions in the USASF Cheer Age Grid for the 2017-18 competition season.
USASF event producer members will have the option to utilize these divisions at sanctioned events where they feel these new opportunities will meet the needs of their customers.
The updated Age Grid is available upon logging in to your USASF member profile.
To find out if a provisional division will be offered at an event you’re attending within the U.S., please contact the event producer to inquire.
For international divisions at events that you will attend outside the U.S., contact the event producer that is conducting the event.
Please make sure you are READY and ELIGIBLE to attend sanctioned events this season! The compliance requirements are the same as last season, HOWEVER the system by which we confirm compliance is NEW.
Take some time to log into your USASF Member Profile and review your eligibility status. Click here and read “Account Information” for a list of what to do when you log in to make sure you’re ready for the season.

Any Team with Special Needs that would like to receive a bid to perform at the 2018 Cheerleading and Dance Worlds may submit a video for qualification. The USASF is dedicated to fostering growth for All Star and has developed a concentrated plan to aid USASF Program owner members to specifically focus on growing the Mini Age market during the 2017-2018 season.
The USASF Mini Age Challenge is designed as an initiative to guide program owners to utilize resources and tools created by the USASF to drive participation in the 5-8 year-old age group. By intentionally focusing on growing this age group, we will enhance the programs ability for long-term growth and the longevity of All Star.
The goal of the Mini Age Growth Challenge is to commit to increasing participation by 7 new athletes and converting 7 athletes to full-season team members by the end of the challenge time frame of September 8th – April 15, 2018.
To participate in the challenge, enroll by September 8th by completing the registration form. At the end of the challenge, participants will complete a Results form in order to be eligible for recognition for completing the Mini Age Growth Challenge.
