NCA & NDA recently posted their performance orders (Cheer & Dance). While I was browsing the information for this year’s championship I noticed something in the Worlds Declaration that stood out:
Once these divisions have been extended their bids, any extra INTERNATIONAL bids will then be moved to the Junior category and awarded to the overall highest scores in the following divisions:
- Level 5 Small Junior
- Level 5 Large Junior
- Level 5 Junior Coed
This appears to be saying a Junior team will only get a bid if there are more bids than International Level 5 or 6 teams, enough International teams already have that their are some left over, or if the International teams turn down bids. Maybe this is old news, but I never noticed it before.
