Is Cheerleading a Contact Sport? II
The Wisconsin Supreme Court has ruled High School Cheerleading is a contact sport, overruling the state appellate court’s decision stating cheerleading was not a contact sport. American Spirit & Athletic Championships
American Spirit and Athletic Championship held their Worlds qualifiers last weekend. KC Cheer and CDX Jags, both Small Small Coed teams, earned the partial paid bids at American Spirit. The USA Cheeer Coed and All Girl teams were announced at UCA College Nationals last weekend. The teams will be coached by Tony Nash (Morehead State University), James Speed (University of Louisville & GymTyme), and Jomo Thompson (University of Kentucky).
